1. Introduction

Archive Labs Inc. ("Archive Labs", "we", "our", or "us") operates 0xArchive.io and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and API services.

0xArchive is operated by Archive Labs Inc., a Delaware corporation.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Username (optional)
  • Password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing)
  • OAuth profile information (if you sign up via GitHub or Google)
  • Ethereum wallet address (if you sign up via SIWE/web3)
  • Marketing communication preference

Usage Information

We automatically collect:

  • API request logs (endpoints accessed, timestamps, response codes)
  • IP addresses
  • Browser type and version
  • Device information

Payment Information

We support two payment methods. For card payments, processing is handled by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers or banking information, and receive only transaction confirmations and subscription status. For cryptocurrency payments, we process USDC payments on Base via the x402 protocol — we record your wallet address, transaction hash, and payment amount.

0xArchive never asks for seed phrases or private keys and does not custody customer funds.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain our services
  • Process transactions and manage subscriptions
  • Send important service updates and security alerts
  • Send marketing communications (only with your opt-in consent)
  • Enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
  • Improve our services and develop new features
  • Respond to customer support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Payment Processors: Stripe for card payments; on-chain transaction data for x402/USDC payments (publicly visible on Base)
  • Analytics and Advertising Providers: Google Analytics (GA4) for website usage analytics and attribution, Microsoft Clarity for public-page behavior analytics, Ahrefs Web Analytics for cookie-free public-site SEO and usage analytics, PostHog for curated product-event analytics (autocapture and pageview capture are off; person profiles are identified-only and session recording is disabled), Apollo.io for company-level visitor enrichment on our public pages, HubSpot for marketing tracking on public pages, and OpenAI Ads for advertising measurement (a browser pixel plus server-side conversion reporting). We share a hashed email and conversion events with OpenAI Ads to measure ad performance; we do not share raw email addresses for that purpose. HubSpot may receive the name and email values you submit through the Contact or Enterprise forms when you have granted Ad measurement consent
  • Customer Support: email, Telegram, and support requests
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL)
  • Secure password hashing (Argon2)
  • API key hashing (SHA-256)
  • Regular security audits
  • Access controls and monitoring

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage logs are retained for 90 days for operational purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and data
  • Export your data
  • Opt out of marketing communications

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@0xarchive.io

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Session management and your cookie consent preference. These are always active.
  • Analytics tools and cookies: Google Analytics (GA4), Microsoft Clarity, Ahrefs Web Analytics, and PostHog help us understand how visitors use our public site and which curated product events occur. Ahrefs Web Analytics is cookie-free and does not use persistent identifiers. PostHog runs with autocapture and pageview capture off, identified-only person profiles, and session recording disabled. Optional analytics storage, Clarity, and PostHog run only when you enable Analytics.
  • Ad measurement cookies: the OpenAI Ads pixel, Google Ads conversion measurement, the Apollo.io visitor tracker, and HubSpot tracking, when configured, help measure whether ads and marketing lead to useful actions such as sign-ups and purchases. Apollo and HubSpot are loaded only on our public Contact and Enterprise routes (or other public marketing pages); they never load on Dashboard, Settings, or other authenticated pages. Browser-side ad measurement runs only when you enable Ad measurement. We may also report conversions to advertising platforms from our servers using hashed identifiers where supported; we do not send raw email addresses for that purpose.
  • Personalized ads cookies: Google ad personalization and remarketing, when configured, help make ads more relevant. These run only when you enable Personalized ads.
  • Functional cookies: account, checkout, and security workflows may store the state required for those service features.

Our consent banner lets you accept the recommended setup, review vendor-level settings, or continue with essentials only. If you continue with essentials only or have not yet made a choice, optional analytics, ad measurement, and personalized ads remain off. You can also clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
