*0xArchive comparison · QuickNode*

[QuickNode](https://www.quicknode.com/) is a node and RPC provider with a Hyperliquid stack: the Info API, live L2 and L4 book streams over gRPC, Streams that deliver data into your database, and SQL Explorer, a queryable index of HyperCore fills, orders, funding and book changes. [0xArchive](https://0xarchive.io/) is a market data archive for Hyperliquid and Lighter with dated history: books from April 2023, order-level books from March 2026. Pick QuickNode for RPC, live streams and SQL over HyperCore. Pick 0xArchive when you need to know how far back the data goes, or Lighter.

Facts about QuickNode come from [its Hyperliquid docs](https://www.quicknode.com/docs/hyperliquid), [Hyperliquid pricing](https://www.quicknode.com/docs/hyperliquid/pricing) and [plans](https://www.quicknode.com/pricing), checked on 24 October 2026.

## QuickNode gives you HyperCore live and in SQL

QuickNode streams Hyperliquid's L2 book as a full snapshot every block and its L4 book with wallets, order IDs and triggers, both over gRPC. Streams deliver HyperCore data into Postgres, S3, Snowflake or BigQuery, with backfill. SQL Explorer indexes fills, orders, funding, markets, portfolios, an order-level book diff table and hourly liquidation tables.

Its docs do not give a start date for SQL Explorer, Streams backfill or historical RPC, and tell you to check the available history before you backfill. Book streams bill credits by data volume on top of the plan.

## 0xArchive dates every dataset it serves

Each 0xArchive route has a published start: the Hyperliquid book from 15 April 2023, funding and open interest from 20 May 2023, liquidations from 22 December 2025, and the order-level book with wallets from 10 March 2026. [Venue coverage](https://docs.0xarchive.io/venue-coverage) lists the start for every market, so a backtest knows its window before it runs.

Ask for a timestamp and the rebuilt book comes back. Lighter, HIP-3 and HIP-4 markets are in the same API.

## When to use QuickNode instead

**1. You need RPC or to send transactions.** QuickNode runs the nodes, and 0xArchive does not.

**2. You want SQL over HyperCore.** SQL Explorer answers fills, orders and portfolio questions without an ETL job.

**3. You want data piped into your database.** Streams write to Postgres, S3, Snowflake and BigQuery.

The [Hyperliquid and Lighter providers comparison](https://0xarchive.io/resources/comparisons/hyperliquid-lighter-data-providers) puts QuickNode next to seven other providers.
