*0xArchive comparison · Kaiko pricing*

Use 0xArchive for Hyperliquid and Lighter market data with published self-serve pricing: Free $0, Build $49, Pro $199 and Scale $799 a month; Enterprise is quoted separately. Kaiko builds custom plans and sells by quote.

- **Free:** covers the latest 30 days.
- **Build:** opens each dataset's full retained history at $49 a month with published plan limits, including core Hyperliquid books from 15 April 2023.

## What does Kaiko publish about its pricing?

| Item | What Kaiko's page says |
| --- | --- |
| Price list | None published |
| How plans are built | "Kaiko creates custom data plans for our enterprise clients dependent on: number of assets/instruments, data type, granularity, historical vs. live access, and usage." |
| How to buy | Request a quote through its contact form |
| Licensing | Standard data licensing agreement for all subscriptions, linked as "Standard Terms"; separate licensing for indices and benchmarks |
| Trial and free access | "Request a Trial" on the page; free Research account sign-up in the site menu |
| Customer base | "200+ enterprise clients worldwide" |

Kaiko figures from its [pricing and licenses page](https://www.kaiko.com/about-kaiko/pricing-and-contracts) and public [reference-data API](https://reference-data-api.kaiko.io/v1/exchanges); prices Kaiko gives under a quote are not public. 3 November 2026.

Because the price depends on the five factors above, two buyers with different instrument lists can pay different amounts for the same data type. A Hyperliquid and Lighter buyer cannot read a number off the page and has to start a sales conversation to get one.

## What does a Hyperliquid and Lighter buyer actually pay on Kaiko?

A quoted amount that is not public, for instruments Kaiko's reference data lists for Hyperliquid starting in late 2025. Kaiko's public reference-data API returns 175 exchange codes. Hyperliquid appears under several:

| Kaiko exchange code | Name in reference data | Instruments | Earliest trade start time |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `hldv` | Hyperliquid Perp | 220 perpetual futures | 4 Dec 2025 |
| `hlsp` | Hyperliquid Spot | 81 spot | 1 Dec 2025 |
| `hxyz` | Hyperliquid Dex XYZ | 104 perpetual futures | 19 Mar 2026 |
| `hkin`, `hflx`, `hvnt`, `hyna`, `hcas` | Hyperliquid Dex KM, FLX, VNTL, HYNA, CASH | 8, 5, 2, 18 and 9 perpetual futures | 19 Mar 2026 |
| Lighter | No Lighter entry in the 175 exchange codes | None listed | None listed |

Reference data describes instruments Kaiko lists; which datasets (trades, order book levels, depth) a quote includes is set in the quote. Kaiko's data dictionary describes its tick-level data for centralized spot and derivatives and lists no Hyperliquid datasets.

## What does a Lighter order-level book request look like?

One call, a public price. This request asks for the Lighter BTC individual-order (L3) book at 13:53:32 UTC on 5 June 2026, two orders trimmed. Each order carries the owning Lighter account index. Real request and response, run on 3 November 2026:

```
curl -H "X-API-Key: $OXARCHIVE_API_KEY" \
  "https://api.0xarchive.io/v1/lighter/l3orderbook/BTC?timestamp=2026-06-05T13:53:32Z&depth=2"
