CryptoStruct facts from its [Hyperliquid page](https://cryptostruct.com/exchanges/hyperliquid) and [homepage](https://cryptostruct.com/), 3 November 2026.

## Where does Hyperliquid history start?

0xArchive stores the Hyperliquid native L2 book from 15 April 2023, trades from April 2023 (every fill from 22 March 2025), funding and open interest from 20 May 2023, liquidations from 22 December 2025 and L4 order-level books from 11 March 2026.

CryptoStruct's [Hyperliquid page](https://cryptostruct.com/exchanges/hyperliquid) gives April 2024 as its coverage start (HYPE from December 2024), which is a year later.

## Request Hyperliquid funding from May 2023

One request, one short window, two minute rows of ETH funding from 20 May 2023, almost a year before CryptoStruct's April 2024 start. Run on 3 November 2026:

```
curl -H "X-API-Key: $OXARCHIVE_API_KEY" \
  "https://api.0xarchive.io/v1/hyperliquid/funding/ETH?start=2023-05-20T00:00:00Z&end=2023-05-20T06:00:00Z&limit=2"
```

Response (first rows):

```
{
  "success": true,
  "data": [
    {
      "coin": "ETH",
      "symbol": "ETH",
      "timestamp": "2023-05-20T02:50:04Z",
      "funding_rate": "0.0001",
      "premium": "-0.0000636"
    },
    {
      "coin": "ETH",
      "symbol": "ETH",
      "timestamp": "2023-05-20T02:51:00Z",
      "funding_rate": "0.0001",
      "premium": "-0.00026546"
    }
  ],
  "meta": {
    "count": 2,
    "symbol": "ETH",
    "venue": "hyperliquid"
  }
}
```

Each row carries the funding rate and the premium. Requests older than the last 30 days need the Build plan.

CryptoStruct's Hyperliquid page lists its datasets as trades, order book updates, quotes and one-minute candles; its feed description mentions funding and liquidation events, and it lists no open interest. Its self-serve realtime feed covers Binance, Coinbase, OKX, Kalshi and Polymarket, not Hyperliquid.

## What does Hyperliquid history cost per instrument?

CryptoStruct sells each instrument-day at €1 with no subscription ([Hyperliquid page](https://cryptostruct.com/exchanges/hyperliquid)). Cost scales with instruments times days: one instrument-year is €365 and one day of all 316 Hyperliquid perpetuals is €316.

0xArchive Build costs $49 a month ($39 billed annually) and opens each dataset's full retained history across every symbol, with 80M credits, 50 requests per second and live WebSocket; one million trade rows cost 1,000 credits, and the Free plan at $0 covers the latest 30 days.

## Query a retained tick window and stream the next event

Build opens the retained Hyperliquid and Lighter datasets by REST and historical replay, while the same API key subscribes to live market channels.

In the seven days to 3 November 2026, measured from AWS Tokyo on BTC, ETH, SOL and HYPE, 0xArchive Stream delivered:

- 99.79% of 7,566,617 matched trades before Hyperliquid's official WebSocket
- A median lead of 122.5 ms (method on the [latency page](https://0xarchive.io/latency) )

## What if you also need Binance, Bybit and 35+ other venues as tick files?

For Binance, Bybit and 35+ other venues, CryptoStruct records tick data co-located with nanosecond timestamps and sells each day as a native tick file, CSV or Parquet. Use 0xArchive for Hyperliquid and Lighter live and historical market data, including order-level books and liquidations.

## Does the same key cover Lighter?

Yes. Lighter uses the same key, SDKs (Python, TypeScript, Rust), CLI and hosted MCP server as Hyperliquid. Lighter datasets start on:

- **Trades:** 17 January 2025
- **Funding and open interest:** 25 August 2025
- **Order book:** 29 January 2026
- **L3 order-level book:** 5 March 2026 (individual resting orders, account-attributed by Lighter account index)
