*0xArchive comparison · CoinAPI*

[CoinAPI](https://www.coinapi.io/) is a multi-exchange market data vendor that lists 400+ exchanges, sold through REST, WebSocket, FIX and S3 flat files. For Hyperliquid it carries standard trades and books from September 2024 and a separate L4 feed with wallets. [0xArchive](https://0xarchive.io/) covers Hyperliquid and Lighter only, with Hyperliquid book history from April 2023 and stored order-level books served by timestamp. Pick CoinAPI when Hyperliquid sits inside a wider multi-exchange contract. Pick 0xArchive for older Hyperliquid history, Lighter, or order-level books you can query at any moment.

Facts about CoinAPI come from [its Hyperliquid data page](https://www.coinapi.io/blog/what-data-is-available-for-hyperliquid), [L4 feed docs](https://www.coinapi.io/products/market-data-api/docs/websocket-ds/hyperliquid), [L4 flat file docs](https://www.coinapi.io/products/flat-files/docs/datasets/book-l4) and [pricing](https://www.coinapi.io/products/market-data-api/pricing), checked on 24 October 2026.

## CoinAPI adds a Hyperliquid L4 feed to a 400-exchange catalog

CoinAPI's standard Hyperliquid data covers trades, quotes, books, candles and exchange metrics such as funding and open interest, with history from 27 September 2024. A separate L4 source streams every order with its ID and wallet, trades with maker and taker addresses, and oracle, TWAP and system events.

Live L4 comes only over its WebSocket feed. Stored L4 arrives as hourly CSV files on S3 from 9 June 2026, priced per GiB, with earlier daily files published without a stated start date.

## 0xArchive serves Hyperliquid's book from 2023 and every order at any timestamp

0xArchive's Hyperliquid book history begins on 15 April 2023, 17 months before CoinAPI's. From 10 March 2026 it stores the order-level book with wallets and serves the rebuilt book at any timestamp, so you ask for a moment instead of downloading hours of files.

It also covers Lighter, with trades from January 2025 and the order-level book from March 2026, plus HIP-3 builder perps and HIP-4 outcome markets as separate route families.

## When to use CoinAPI instead

**1. You buy data for many exchanges at once.** One CoinAPI contract and schema covers Hyperliquid and hundreds of other venues.

**2. Your stack speaks FIX.** CoinAPI offers FIX next to REST and WebSocket.

**3. You want Hyperliquid's oracle, TWAP and system events in the same feed as L4.** Its L4 source carries all of them.

The [Hyperliquid and Lighter providers comparison](https://0xarchive.io/resources/comparisons/hyperliquid-lighter-data-providers) puts CoinAPI next to seven other providers.
